Launched by Feadship — De Vries in 1990 and the subject of a complete interior refit in 2015, BG Charade pairs steel-hulled provenance with an interior styled by McMillan Design and Dee Dee Taylor Eustace. Twin Caterpillar 3508 DI-TA engines, Quantum zero-speed stabilisers and 5,500 nm of range carry her well beyond the marina.
Across her main, bridge and sun decks she sleeps twelve guests in six cabins, with quarters for ten crew. A jacuzzi, full tender garage and an exterior plan built for entertaining round out a yacht built to cruise — and to last.

The full-beam Owner’s stateroom features an ensuite bath with separate shower, walk-in storage, and panoramic forward views. McMillan Design’s neutral palette frames the sea.

BG Charade is a full-displacement, twin-screw diesel motor yacht built in steel with an aluminium superstructure and teak-laid decks. Lloyds Register ✜ 100A1 SSC YACHT MONO G6, LMC, MCA LY2 compliant — she is built and certified for serious cruising.
A complete interior refit in 2015 reset the aesthetic; extensive engineering work in 2021 — including two new Kohler generators — refreshed the systems. New Simrad ECDIS in 2020 and a new Sperry gyro compass in 2023 keep her bridge current.
